The AIxNEXT annual conference invites papers and presentations on any subject related to AIxNEXT conferences and beyond. All accepted papers will be included in the proceedings of an appropriate AIxNEXT conference and submitted for possible inclusion in IEEE Xplore, subject to meeting its scope and quality requirements. Distinguished papers presented at the conference will be considered for Best Paper and Best Poster awards, as well as for publication in internationally renowned journals.

Paper Submission Deadlines

  • Main Conference and Workshop Registration Deadline: July 23, 2026 PT

  • Camera-ready Deadline: August 21, 2026 PT 

 

Paper Submission Guidelines

 

Authors are invited to submit a 6-page (Regular), 4-page (Short), or 2-page (Position) paper in double-column IEEE format. Papers must be written in English and follow the instructions provided on the IEEE “Tools for Authors” webpage for conference proceedings.

All submissions will be carefully reviewed by at least three experts. Reviews, including comments, will be returned to the author(s) to help ensure the high quality of accepted papers. Authors of accepted papers must guarantee that their work will be presented at the conference.

Submissions must consist of original material. Authors must hold the copyright to all submitted content, and the work must not be under review elsewhere. Please refer to IEEE policies for further information.

Paper Submission Instructions

 

Only electronic submissions will be accepted. Authors must submit their papers through EasyChair (link provided). Submissions must be in PDF format.

 

Camera-ready Submission Instructions

​

Final papers must comply with the IEEE Proceedings Paper Formatting Guidelines (see templates above). Authors are strongly encouraged to proofread and verify formatting before submission. A submission link will be provided after the review process. Final papers must be submitted in PDF format.


​Important Note:

  • Every accepted paper must be presented at the conference.

  • Each accepted paper must be accompanied by at least one full registration (member or nonmember). For papers authored entirely by students, at least one student author must register at the full rate.

    Failure to comply will result in removal of the paper from the conference proceedings.


​Page limits (including figures, tables, and references) are as follows:

  • Regular Papers: 6 pages

  • Short Papers: 4 pages

  • Workshop Papers: 6 pages

  • Position Papers: 2 pages


Regular and Workshop papers may include up to 2 additional pages, and Short papers up to 1 additional page, at a cost of $150 per extra page.

 

Poster Abstract Submission Instructions

 

Authors are invited to submit an abstract for the in-person poster session. Please note, there is no virtual option for the poster session.


​​All Poster Abstract submissions will be carefully reviewed by the Program Co-chairs Committee for quality and content that aligns with the conference. Poster Abstracts can only be updated by the authors prior to the submission deadline.

 

ATTENTION: Authors of accepted Poster Abstracts will need to submit  a Camera-ready version. 


Authors of accepted Poster Abstracts must guarantee that their poster will be presented at the conference. Please only submit original material where copyright of all parts is owned by the authors declared and which is not currently under review elsewhere. Please see the IEEE policies for further information.​

 

Only electronic submissions will be accepted. Authors MUST submit their Poster Abstracts through EasyChair. Please follow this link.

  • Your abstract must encapsulate all of the work presented in the final poster that you plan to present at the conference.

  • Abstracts must be written in English as one paragraph and less than 2000 characters long. It must not include symbols, special characters, abbreviations, footnotes, references, mathematical equations, or tabular material.

  • Please use the letter-size conference template for conference proceedings found on the IEEE Article Templates website. Your submitted PDF should only contain the title, author information, abstract, and keywords sections. Please delete the rest of the contents on the template.

  • Do not submit the full poster.​ Authors of accepted Poster Abstracts must bring their posters to the conference. Please see the Conference Poster Instructions for more information.

Poster Requirements:

  1. Every Poster Abstract accepted for the poster session MUST be presented during the conference.

  2. Every Poster Abstract accepted MUST have attached to it at least one registration at one of the "In Person" "Poster" rates. Do not choose any of the "Virtual" rates. The Poster Session is in person only.

​

Failure to comply will result in removal from the conference proceedings.
